This past weekend I completed Draft 7 of my novel titled Not Dead Yet. This is the first in the Reece Culver series
and takes place during the first few months of 2011. In this book Reece has resigned from his job
as an Aerospace Engineer to become a Private Investigator, and when not
investigating cases pours himself into solving the mystery of his father’s cold
case murder in 2007. Reece gets a Sunday
visit from a woman wishing to hire him to find her missing mother. He reluctantly
takes the case after assuring Crystal Thomas that someone who has been missing
for 32 years might not be that easy to find. During the investigation his life is in
threatened and he’s framed for the murder of a homeless man. As Reece gets closer to solving his client’s
case he is thrust into a head on collision with the very man who took his
father’s life. Using all his assets and
working against insurmountable odds Reece Culver endeavors onward.
Not Dead Yet is a story of trust, redemption, love, and
revenge.
